MBC Programs and Activities for Practically Everybody!
NURSERY
For the convenience of parents we offer a fine nursery for infants during each church service (8:30 a.m. through approximately noon on Sunday mornings).
SUNDAY SCHOOL, Mr. Bill Nelson--Superintendent
There are serveral reasons to attend Sunday School. Here, we .....
Form friendships with other believers,
Learn more about relationships with God, our family and each other,
Gain better understanding of the teachings of Jesus,
Are given biblical examples of how we are to conduct ourselves in the world,
Share our real world problems and concerns with others,
Support one another as part of the "family" of God,
Become firmly grounded in the faith so that we may teach others about God.
Our children and youth classes are for those ranging in age from toddlers through high school. Right now, we have about 100 enrolled!
Adult classes are varied, some being for men while others are for women.Still others are coed for people in their 20s and early 30s, and one class has such a broad range of folks that it really can’t be classified!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEALS
Here's a great opportunity to get together with our friends and family at dinner, held in the Fellowship Hall at 5:40 p.m. every Wednesday evening (September through May).
Following the meal are bible studies, prayer groups, monthly business meetings, and edifying children’s activities.
WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION
Our women of the church are some of the most active folks you’ll ever meet!The W.M.U. involves women of all ages, focusing on local, state, national and international mission levels, seeking to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. CHOIR
At MBC, you'll have an opportunity to praise the Lord through music by joining our choir.Here, you’ll sing your favorite old hymns plus other special choral arrangements throughout the year!
MBC PRAISE TEAM
If you are an experienced singer or musician, you may want to join the MBC Praise Team!They lead the service during Modern Worship every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Come and have a great time serving the Lord through music. Practice is on Friday nights.
SHATTERPROOF! YOUTH PRAISE BAND!
We have a youth (7th thru 12th grade) praise band meeting on Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 to practice contemporary Christian songs. The band leads worship the last Sunday of each month for the FUSION worship service. This service is open to any youth who want to come out and praise and worship God in a casual setting with their friends.
STARLIGHT CHOIR
Girls (sorry, no boys allowed! ) in grades 2 thru 6 meet on Friday afternoons after school from 3:00-4:30 p.m. This 15 member group is called the Starlight Choir, and they meet in the Worship Center. What a great way to end the school week!
YOUTH
(7th - 12th grade)
Our youth get together on alternate Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m for snacks, fun & games and Bible study. They also meet on Wednesday evenings after dinner around 6:30 p.m. as well as various planned outings throughout the year.
